Endeavour Co-operative Education Trust (ECET)
Who are we?
We are an education trust set-up in 2014 as a partnership between education providers and the wider community in South-west Birmingham, UK. The founder members of the trust are Cofton Primary School, Turves Green Girls’ School, Cadbury Sixth Form College, Bournville College and the University of Worcester.
Our vision is to provide for our young people the very best teaching, and a supportive environment where talents are nurtured and barriers to success are overcome. We will support the young people of our community throughout their childhoods to build their aspirations and ensure their needs are met.
We work to put our co-operative at the heart of the community. By working together we have greater capacity for success. Through our co-operative we pool our efforts, ideas and enthusiasm to support our young people and their families in ways that would not be possible on our own. As educators, learners, parents, young people and wider community, we draw upon both our own strength and the expertise of partner organisations.
The Endeavour Cooperative Education Trust will seek to work with all schools in our area, supporting other schools who wish to join our trust, but also supporting schools outside the Trust with their own school improvement.
The Endeavour Cooperative Education Trust works to give parents, pupils, staff and the wider community a strong voice in the development of education and services in the area.
Membership of the ECET stakeholder forum is open to anyone who would like to become involved to support the trust. Further information is available on the stakeholder forum blog, including the constitution and roles of officers. We welcome all new members.
Membership of the trust by other education providers may also be possible. Please contact the school for more information.
